FIL DETAIL

Fil Detail is water based, long lasting tail paint to aid heat detection.  It comes in a range of four colours, which can also be used in a management programme.  The paint contains bittering agent to prevent cows licking it. This world recognized heat detection paint and general animal marking paint comes in 500ml bottles, with a brush applicator on the top, and replaceable protective cap.

The FiL Management System :

• 1.Paint cows Red three weeks after calving. This indicates when the cow has started to cycle again. If the cow has not come into heat after calving, you can take remedial action.
• 2. Paint all the cows with Green paint immediately prior to commencing your Al program. This identifies cows coming into heat on a daily basis.
• 3. Paint each cow with Blue paint as soon as she has been AI’d. This will tell you if she has held to service.
• 4. Paint each cow Yellow when pregnancy is confirmed.
  • Cows with Red have not cycled after calving
  • Cows with Green paint are waiting to be AI'd.
  • Cows with Blue are holding to AI service
  • Cows with Yellow are confirmed pregnant.
