Westpoint Midhurst
The office at Ingram's Green, Midhurst has been open since January 2009. This location offers a more central office, serving a large number of clients in the Midhurst/Haslemere/Billingshurst area. We have enlarged our postmortem facilities for gamebirds, and our dedicated laboratory operates on the same site. Our dedicated team of Vets are Keith, Mireille, Hugh and Roland.

Keith Baxter BVetMed MRCVS 07740 519743 Associate Director of Westpoint Veterinary Group Keith qualified from the Royal Veterinary College, University of London in 1990. He then had a brief spell in mixed practise in Gloucestershire and Staffordshire. Since 1992 Keith has concentrated on cattle medicine, working in practices in Devon, Derbyshire and New Zealand before settling in Chichester in 1998. Keith became a partner in the Woodhorn Veterinary Centre in 1999. Year 2004 saw the merger of Woodhorn Veterinary Centre and St Peter's Veterinary Group farm practice into Southern Farm Vets. Later Southern Farm Vets was amalgamated into Stock1st, which merged with Westpoint Veterinary Group in 2008. Keith is particularly interested in mastitis investigation and control, computerised recording and analysis of farm data and bull fertility. Keith's personal interests include coaching junior rugby at Chichester RFC and acting as a parent governor for a local primary school. |

Mireille Heald BVSc MRCVS 07815 909679 Qualified in 2001, Mireille started her career in a mixed practice in Devon. After various locum positions she decided that farm practice was for her, joining Southern Farm Vets in 2004, which was amalgamated into Westpoint. She has a particular interest in sheep work, especially health planning. |

Hugh Thomson BVM&S MRCVS 07739 707835 Hugh is originally from a beef, sheep and arable farm in northeast of Scotland. He has worked in a pure farm animal practice in the South of England since he graduated from the Royal (Dick) Veterinary College, Edinburgh in 2007 and joined Westpoint in the summer of 2008. Hugh is involved with bull and ram breeding soundness and has particular interests in beef herd health and flock management. He is currently studying towards his Certificate in Cattle Health and Production (Cert CHP). During his free time, Hugh is a keen mountain biker and musician, and has an adorable dog called Huxley. |

Debbie Lawrence - Office Manager Having been the practice manager at the Oving branch for the past 10 years, Debbie has now moved to Midhurst to continue her role at the helm offering the experience she has, to execute the smooth running of the branch; From ensuring that the vets are at the right place at the right time to dispensing the medicine requirements of the customers. She is also responsible for stock control as well as organising TB testing for both the West Sussex and Hampshire area. In her spare time she enjoys taking part in voluntary conservation work, walking the vets dogs and photographing flora and fauna. She also loves gardening and is an avid committee member of the Yapton and District Cottage Gardeners' Society. |
