Westpoint Veterinary Group, has donated £1,000 to the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI) as an early Christmas present.Westpoint Veterinary Group's Phil McIntosh says deciding what to give back to the farming community at this time of year is always very difficult. "Without farmers there would be no farm animal vets, so donating £1,000 to RABI as a gesture of our support to the farming community as a whole felt the right thing to do." The charity, which is currently celebrating its 150th anniversary, supports all members of the farming community when facing need or hardship. As with most charities of this nature, Christmas tends to be a very busy time so this donation will undoubtedly help those most in need of the charity's support.
Christmas comes early as Westpoint Veterinary Group's Phil McIntosh presents RABI field officer, Sally Field, with a cheque for £1,000.
