The UK dairy industry in undergoing great change at present, but crucial to its future success is the adoption of practices that ensure public confidence in UK dairying, maximsing dairy contracts and minimise milk residue issues. Through their uniquely impartial and trusted position, vets in the UK are able to assist the farmer in both achieving his contractual obligations with the milk purchaser, but also act as a vital part of ensuring confidence in UK dairying "from farm to table".
