Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution
Westpoint Veterinary Group, has donated £1000 to the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI) as an early Christmas present. Westpoint Veterinary Group's Phil McIntosh says deciding what to give back to the farming community at this time of the year is always very difficult. "Without farmers there would be no farm animal vets, so donating £1000 to RABI as a gesture of our support to the farming community felt the right thing to do." The charity, which is currently celebrating its 150th anniversary, supports all members of the farming community when facing need or hardship. As with most charities of this nature, Christmas tends to be a very busy time so this donation will undoubtly help those most in need of the charity's support.
