Thorough disinfection of the teat end before infusion of intramammary products, particularly teat seals, is vital. Serious infections, which can be fatal, can be caused if the teat end has not been properly disinfected.

Propa-Prep Tubing Wipes are large swabs presented in a multi-swab pack to make proper teat disinfection easy. They are impregnated with a solution of chlorhexidine in surgical spirit made by a patented process which eliminates the need for addition of water to the solution. Containing no added water, this solution therefore has superior disinfecting properties.
