Westpoint Research is one of the leading veterinary-based Contract Research Organisations in the UK, providing research solutions to the animal health industry.

All work is conducted in accordance with the standards demanded by the VICH’s Good Clinical Practice (Veterinary), and can be used to support the registration of new veterinary medicinal products in the EU and abroad. From small-scale ‘laboratory’ trials, to large-scale field studies, Westpoint Research is able to tailor studies to meet the needs of animal health businesses.  With considerable experience of conducting a wide range of studies, Westpoint Research staff pride themselves on understanding a clients requirements, and having a ‘can-do’ approach to getting results.

Using a number of our clients’ farms as ‘research sites’, we are able to reduce overhead costs, and provide cost effective solutions – a factor becoming increasingly important in many animal health companies! Having access to over 30 veterinary surgeons, each working ‘in the field’, our knowledge of issues affecting the livestock sector is unparalleled.

Westpoint Research is also able to source animals for studies. With over 3000 clients, and our knowledge of the health status on each holding, we are uniquely placed to find animals that meet your requirements. From accredited disease free stock, through to cases of clinical disease, our database enables us to quickly and easily identify animals for studies. If required, we are able to arrange screening, purchase, transportation – and even exportation!
