SouthWest Healthy Youngstock Initiative

Westpoint Veterinary Group and Blade Farming have teamed up to run a series of educational meetings/practical workshops on ensuring youngstock (predominantly calves) are reared healthily and profitably under the heading SWHYI (SouthWest Healthy Youngstock Initiative), this is sponsored by the SouthWest Healthy Livestock Initiative and setup by the Southwest Rural Development Agency (SWRDA).

Westpoint Veterinary Group will also be participating in another venture delivered by the Duchy Agricultural College called Healthy Livestock http://www.healthylivestock.org/ which funds educational meetings and some diagnostic work  for BVD, Johne's, Mastitis and Lameness in cattle and general good health and production performance for sheep.
