Part 1: Wednesday 9th September at 7pm
How efficient is breeding in my beef herd? Understanding your system and figures
Trying to improve your herd’s performance without having the full picture of your current situation, and knowing where your goals should be, may be difficult. In our 1st webinar we will focus on the key figures that reflect the efficiency of your herd’s reproduction and how to use them to benchmark your results with those achieved across the country and locally.
Part 2: Wednesday 23rd September at 7pm
What can I do to improve my herd’s reproduction results?
There are a lot of very useful synchronisation and induction systems that can help you increase the calving rate and optimise your work during breeding and calving season. We will discuss the most popular ones in our 2nd webinar, but also give practical advice around breeding cow management for best fertility, introduction of heifers into breeding as well as how to select and manage the breeding bull.
Part 3: Wednesday 7th October at 7pm
Key causes of reproductive failure in beef herds and how to avoid them
In our 3rd webinar we will discuss the causes of reproductive failure and how to prevent them. You will also hear more about the fertility services that Westpoint practices offer to their beef clients.
